Agile Used in Bio-weapons

The Umbrella Corporation specializes in the design and creation of advanced biological weapons, including the creation of zombies. They use Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as their project management approach to ensure that their zombies are delivered on time and within budget while coordinating the work of multiple teams working on different aspects of the project.

SAFe is an Agile framework that is designed to scale Agile practices to large, complex projects, which is perfect for the Umbrella Corporation's needs. They have an Agile Release Train (ART) that is responsible for coordinating the work of multiple teams working on different aspects of the zombie' creation.

The ART consists of multiple Agile teams, each responsible for a specific aspect of the zombies' creation. The teams include scientists, engineers, and bio-weapon specialists. Each Agile team operates on a two-week sprint cycle, and they meet regularly for sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

During each sprint, the Agile teams focus on creating a specific aspect of the zombies, such as their physical attributes or the virus that reanimates them. The teams use daily stand-up meetings to check in on progress and address any issues that have come up. At the end of the sprint, the teams conduct a sprint review where they present their completed work to the rest of the ART and get feedback.

The ART also conducts a program increment (PI) planning meeting at the end of each sprint, where they plan and coordinate the work of the next sprint. They also conduct a PI retrospective to discuss what went well, what didn't, and how they can improve in the next PI. This allows the ART to continuously improve and adapt their processes as they work on creating different types of zombies.

The use of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) allows the Umbrella Corporation to be flexible and responsive to changes, which is essential in the fast-paced world of bio-weapon development. It also allows them to deliver high-quality zombies as bio-weapons that meet the specific needs and goals of their clients while coordinating the work of multiple teams working on different aspects of the project.
